Hello, my name is Georgina. I am a qualified counsellor based in Barnstaple, North Devon. I offer face-to-face, online, or telephone sessions for adults. You are probably here because you, or a loved one, are struggling at the moment. You may be experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship issues, depression, or addiction. Or you may be feeling stuck, knowing that you want to make changes to your life but are not sure how.
Perhaps a life event, such as bereavement, divorce, redundancy, or menopause, has left you struggling to understand what has happened, who you are now, and how to move forward with your life.
People come to counselling for many different reasons. Whatever you bring, your sessions will be a space in which you can talk through your thoughts, feelings, hopes, fears, and dreams. My role is to listen, asking careful questions to help you gain greater insight into your challenges. I may be able to offer a new perspective on what is happening to you. I will not judge, and I won’t offer advice. But together, we will explore your true self, find ways in which you can move forward in a way that suits you, and help you free yourself from unhelpful thoughts and behaviour patterns.
