Counselling

If something is troubling you, talking things through with a qualified counsellor can help. No issue is too big or too small. Just bring yourself and your thoughts, and we’ll work through it together.

You may know what’s troubling you, or perhaps you’re feeling stuck, lost, or sad without knowing why. Either way, counselling provides you with the time and space to process what’s going on for you right now. Together, we’ll identify the underlying issues, recognise any unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns, explore new coping strategies, and work towards moving forward in a more positive direction.

You can choose to access counselling in person, online, or by telephone, ensuring that you can receive the support you need in a way that feels most comfortable for you.

I offer counselling for a range of issues, including:

Anxiety
Stress
Depression
Anger
Low Self Esteem
Bereavement
Addiction
Relationship difficulties
Life transitions (divorce, redundancy, menopause, empty nest)

In-Person (F2F) – I offer face-to-face sessions at my office in the centre of Barnstaple. Sessions last for 1 hour.

Online – Online sessions are available, making it easier for those with busy schedules, mobility issues, or caring responsibilities to access support. Alternatively, you may simply feel more comfortable working from the privacy of your own home.

Telephone – Telephone counselling offers the same flexibility as online sessions, and may be a good option for those who don’t feel confident using technology but still wish to access support from home.
